The main differences between the two monitors are the refresh rate, display certifications, and RGB lighting. The FO32U works at 165Hz compared to the FO32U2’s 240Hz. In place of the more expensive model’s fast response certification, it has a different kind of certification, the ClearMR 9000, and it misses the light-up back, RGB Fusion 2.0.

Even with these differences, the FO32U still had so much to boast about. It sports a very sharp picture – 3840 x 2160 pixels, otherwise known as UHD; it’s fantastically fast at 0.03ms response time; and it’s also got a good color gamut where it hits 99% on DCI-P3. Moreover, it is bright with a typical brightness of 250 nits and reaches super brightness at 1000 nits for a vivid and clear picture.

On the subject of connectivity, FO32U has most of the options one would find in its sibling, the FO32U2. It features two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a versatile USB-C that can also send video and charge your device up to 18 watts.

Also included are three regular USB ports for connecting things such as your keyboard and mouse, plus a headphone and microphone jack. Moreover, it has built-in speakers and another feature called KVM for an easy switch between two computers with the use of the same monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
