Xiaomi Hyper OS update rollout starts for Mi 11X and 11X pro these are one of the series that’s receiving the Hyper OS update. In the future, more devices will be added to this rollout list, But as for now only Mi 11 X and Pro are the ones who are receiving this update.
These two devices are the rebranded versions of Redmi K40 and K40 Pro, in India, they are sold as Mi 11 X whereas in the global market, they are sold as Poco F3.
Xiaomi Mi 11x and 11x Pro Hyper OS Update:
Xiaomi MI 11X and MI 11X Pro receive HyperOS with S1.0.1.0.TKHINXM and OS1.0.1.0.UKKINXM build numbers. The Xiaomi Mi 11X is updating to HyperOS on Android 13 whereas the Xiaomi 11X Pro is updating to Android 14.
One of the reasons behind this is the difference in the processors of both phones. The Xiaomi Mi 11X comes with a Snapdragon 870 while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro has a Snapdragon 888 which is kinda newer and more powerful than Snapdragon 870.
The difference in the processor means that the Xiaomi Mi 11X is equipped with a more recent chip, the SD 888, which makes it eligible for the HyperOS on Android 14 upgrade.
However, you don’t have to worry about it. The new update includes HyperOS optimizations.
These are the latest major updates for the Xiaomi Mi 11X series. The update for the Xiaomi Mi 11X will be 1.6 GB while the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will get the latest version of Android 14 with this new update which is 4.8 GB. This is the last major update for these devices. So, in the future, you may have to use the Custom ROM.
