Motorola has officially announced its third and highest-end smartphone from its Edge 50 series in India. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra made its worldwide debut this April, alongside the Motorola Edge 50 Pro and Edge 50 Neo.
It comes with impressive specs—its strong Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, a big battery with tangled and wireless charging, a Pantone-approved display, and sophisticated cameras. It is going to sport a slick P-OLED display and will come laced with a myriad of AI capabilities called Moto AI.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra comes with a powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery supporting both wired and wireless fast charging at 125W and 50W, respectively. On the software end, it runs Android 14 out of the box.
The display on Edge 50 Ultra is a 6.7-inch 1.5K P-OLED Display with 2,800 nits peak brightness. The refresh rate has been set at 144Hz; there’s also HDR10+. Display Protection Gorilla Glass Victus and in-display fingerprint scanning. It also features stereo speakers supporting Dolby Atmos and Dolby Head Tracking.
On the note of camera quality, the Edge 50 Ultra’s triple-camera system consists of a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.6 lens and supports OIS, while it has a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64 MP telephoto lens featuring OIS and 100x AI Super Zoom. There is also a 50 MP front-facing camera with an autofocus feature.
The Edge 50 Ultra is made with Nordic Wood, giving the device a wood look, bringing along with it Forest Stewardship Council certification, with resin backing, an aluminum structure for support, and comes with eco-friendly leather for other color models. Most notable of all, this is rated IP68, meaning dust and water resistance. The various connectivity features available include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, dual-SIM, 5G, 4G, USB Type-C with USB 3.2, and DisplayPort 1.4.
Pricing and Availability:
Base variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage: the price of Motorola Edge 50 Ultra starts at Rs 54,999 in India. Consumers purchasing the Edge 50 Ultra on an ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank credit card will get a no-conditional discount of Rs 5,000 on top. According to the e-commerce platform, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra shall be launched in India by Flipkart, Motorola.in, and other leading sellers on June 24 at 12 noon IST. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra can also be made available in chic styles like Forest Grey, Nordic Wood, and Peach Fuzz finishes.
