Well, it seems iQOO is not stopping from expanding its Neo series of phones! They launched the Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro in China back in December 2023. The Neo 9 Super runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, while the Neo 9 Pro is on a very much at-par Dimensity 9300 chipset. For the global markets, interestingly, the Neo 9 Pro with the Snapdragon chip was just called Neo 9.

Now, coming to the last one, iQOO has just launched the Neo 9S Pro in China. The phone is powered by a brand-new Dimensity 9300+ chip. However, rumors are already rife that iQOO may not be done just yet, as it works on an even beefier variant for the Chinese market dubbed iQOO Neo 9S Pro+. This one, to many speculations, comes with quite a good feature upgrade.

Based on rumors, it turns out that this upcoming iQOO Neo 9S Pro+ may just be an updated version of the iQOO Neo 9 Pro (Chinese variant), wherein it is speculated to improve in only three key factors: chipset, battery, and fingerprint sensor.

Let us break down the differences that are expected:

Chipset: The Neo 9 Pro runs with the Dimensity 9300 chip; in this Neo 9S Pro+, it might jump straight to the even faster Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

Battery: The Neo 9 Pro will pack a 5,160mAh battery, whereas the Neo 9S Pro+ might have an even bigger capacity, though it’s not known yet how big.

The in-display fingerprint sensor also seems to be upgraded to an ultrasonic one from an optical module on the Neo 9 Pro.

Front Camera: 16MP
Rear Camera: Dual 50MP, OIS
RAM: Up to 16GB
Storage: Up to 512GB
Fast Charging: 120W supported

Note that these are speculations, and how much of these will pan out remains to be seen, Courtesy – iQOO.

iQOO Z9 Turbo Plus:

The leaks also mention another phone, the iQOO Z9 Turbo+. This one is rumored to be an affordable option but still packs a punch with the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ chip. However, that’s all we know so far – other specs for this phone remain a mystery.
