Open AI was testing this feature since February this year on a small portion of users across the globe.
The feature will be available for paid chatGPT subscribers globally accept Europe and Korea region.

This feature will be helpful to users, as now they can manage the Chatbot’s memory by reviewing what the chatbot took from conversations and erasing the unwanted data and details.
How memory Feature works in ChatGPT?
The work of this new feature is quite simple the chatbot is now more personalized to user responses as the chat GPT plus users can ask the chatbot to remember certain details and ignore the unnecessary data from their conversation which will help the chatbot to generate more responsive and helpful output while learning about the user from their conversations.
Additionally, the Company stated that this will help ChatGPT to become a more personalized AI assistant, once the chatbot understands the user’s likes and dislikes as well as preferences, it can include them without giving additional commands.
