Oppo is all set to launch its Reno 12 series in India on July 12th. The series will feature two phones, namely Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro with a lot of loaded features. Actually, since both phones have already made their ways to other countries, all their details are already known. Let’s dive into what these phones offer!

OPPO Reno 12 Series Specifications:

Oppo Reno 12 Series Launched Globally Comes with MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC and 120Hz OLED Display
The Oppo Reno 12 series boasts a gorgeous display! Both phones feature a large 6.7-inch FHD+ screen with a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate. This AMOLED panel is built to be flexible, giving the phones a nearly bezel-less look with an impressive 93.5% screen-to-body ratio according to Oppo. They’re calling this display design “Quad-Micro Curved Infinite View”.

The two phones differ slightly in design. The Reno 12 Pro comes in Sunset Gold and Space Brown, with a two-toned back panel. The top half uses Oppo Glow technology for a fancy finish that resists fingerprints, while the bottom half has a glossy look with the Oppo branding. The standard Reno 12 has a more subdued look with three color options: Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver.

Durability is a focus for the Reno 12 series, with Oppo touting their “All-Round Armour protection technology” to better withstand drops and bumps. The chassis is also made from a high-strength alloy for extra sturdiness. Both phones can also shrug off some dust and water thanks to their IP65 rating.

The Oppo Reno series is a knock-off under the hood. Running with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip, the phone is backed fully by Oppo’s AI features, with AI Clear Face for sharpened selfies and AI Eraser 2.0 to clean all unwanted background elements in your photo.

The battery life should not be a concern as well. Both models have a gigantic 5000mAh battery and super-fast 80W SUPERVOOC quick charging from Oppo, which the company claims gives you 0-100% in 46 minutes only!

For the cameras, there are slight variances between the two. The more-premium Reno 12 Pro has a triple camera at the back with a powerful 50MP Sony main sensor having stabilization, for clearer photos in low light. There is also an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens for great landscape shots that are captivatingly large.

The same 50MP main sensor and 8MP ultra-wide sensor, but the base Reno 12 has a 2MP macro lens, the Pro has a telephoto lens for scenes further away. Up front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera, compared with the 32MP seen in the standard Reno 12.
