Xiaomi is planning the launch of their new budget tablet, the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G. We saw a real-life picture of the tablet earlier. Now, the Redmi Pad 8.7 4G has been certified at BIS with the model number 24076RP19I, which generally indicates that it is coming soon.
Although we don’t know everything yet from the BIS certification, other certifications might give us an idea of what this tablet is capable of.

The name of the tablet does give pretty clear hints as to the size of the screen, which is 8.7 inches. For increased screen vision, a device under the name Redmi Pad SE has an 11-inch screen; it hit the Indian and Chinese markets in September 2023 and April 2024, respectively. It does really seem like this tablet would be a cheaper variant sister of the Redmi Pad SE.
