The Vivo V40 and the Vivo S19, both available in China, have the same specifications. They both have the capability to charge at 80W, but the S19 in China comes with a charger, a feature not available with the global version.

Furthermore, the basic model of the global version does not come with a case (8GB+256GB model includes one, but the 12GB+512GB model does not). It’s important to mention that the battery of the global version is 500 mAh smaller than that of the S19 in China.

Why Vivo V40 Released with 80W charging support but no charger?

Vivo V40 Released in China Equipped with 80W charging, but no charger in the box! Users Disappointed

The latest smartphone from Vivo comes equipped with a remarkable charging speed of 80W, however, there’s a caveat – the charging cable isn’t provided in the package, necessitating a separate purchase.

Following Apple’s decision to remove the charger from their boxes, Samsung was quick to adopt the same strategy, initially with their top-of-the-line models and subsequently their more budget-friendly Galaxy A series.

Manufacturers in China were initially reluctant to emulate Apple’s decision to eliminate chargers, as they are leaders in the realm of fast charging, relying on exclusive cables for their high-performance standards. The Vivo V40 5G, while supporting an impressive 80W charging rate, strangely omits a charging cable with the device.
