This morning, the Vivo Y28s 5G phone made its way to the Google Play Store. Now, thanks to a tip from Paras Guglani, we have got the full specifications for the device.
The Y28s 5G will also lead in terms of screen refresh rate, at 6.56 inches with support up to 90Hz. The exact resolution is yet to be revealed but looking at the rumors, it will be at least what Vivo Y28 has to offer—an HD+ 720 x 1612-pixel high-definition display.
This device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, with options for RAM including 6GB and 8GB. In addition, Vivo’s Extended RAM technology will be on board, which increases the capacity of RAM by ultimately using storage space. The sizes available for storage are 128GB and 256GB.

The camera gear seems modest, with a 50MP main lens at the back, possibly paired with at least one depth sensor added to it. The front lens is an 8MP model, good enough for video chats and taking pictures of yourself.
The phone is fitted with a 5000mAh battery, but the charging is capped at a paltry 15W, which may be slower than some other units provide.
The phone has thin frames and a rectangular camera at the back. Vivo Y28s 5G will debut in two colors: Mocha Brown and Twinkling Purple.
In terms of size, the phone is going to stand tall at 163.63mm and 75.58mm in width. The Mocha Brown trim is slightly thick at 8.53mm in thickness, while the other trim – Twinkling Purple is marginally thin at 8.39mm. Both color options measure 185g.
The Y28s 5G model will further come with an IP54 rating; hence, it is dust and water-resistant. This phone will also provide a volume boost of 150% for enhanced sound and a photo-protecting feature that gives the user full control over the photos. Other highlights include a slot for a microSD card to add more storage and a USB Type-C port for charging and transferring data.
The leaked summary also goes on to detail what’s come in the retail package, which is reportedly going to ship with a phone, protective case, Type-C cable, case removal tool, attached screen protector, quick start guide, and warranty card. Remember that there is no mention of an adapter in the box.
